Friends of beyerdynamic Aviation
The beyerdynamic aviation team gets involved in all fields of General Aviation. In doing so beyerdynamic's activities are versatile. We promote aircraft manufacturers, students and festivals to prove our product quality as well as to get feedback for future product developments or improvements. Furthermore we participate in many various events world-wide as a sponsor.
Generations of musicians, sound engineers and event organisers trust in beyerdynamic products and since the introduction of our aviation headsets in the summer of 2006 also pilots from all over the globe. Here in our category "friends of beyerdynamic" you will find an abridged list of artists using our products ... and that because they are convinced of.
Classic Flyers
The “Classic Flyers” are Marwig Herzog flying a WACO YKS-6 of the year 1936 (location maintenance hangar Schleißheim – Deutsches Museum Munich) and Andreas Bucher flying a Beech Staggerwing D17-S of the year 1943 (location airport Braunschweig).
They have dedicated themselves to the maintenance and preservation of these rare aircrafts and fascinate the visitors at exhibitions and flight shows with their historic aircrafts, which have written aviation history. Their beyerdynamic headsets are always on board!
“Classic Flyers” pilots Andreas Bucher and Marwig Herzog:
“We pilot our biplanes directly behind powerful radial engines; without noise-compensated Aviation headsets of the highest quality we would have problems with the radio communication. Furthermore, our beyerdynamic HS 600 DANR look great.”
Both of them put in their heart to maintain those rare planes and display them on several shows throughout the year.

Academic Flight Group Braunschweig
In addition to their studies a group of young and open-minded students of the University of Technology Braunschweig, builds constructs and flies independently gliders in their leisure.
Having fun is the motivation – while in winter they are working eagerly with the projects in the garage, in summer they are flying with the well-equipped aircrafts. The only aeroplane of the float has been equipped with a HS 300 Individual headset, which provides a very comfortable almost silent flight despite engine noise.
Every year adds up more than 10,000 working hours and 24854, 86 air miles According to the slogan “Students are researching, constructing, flying” the Akaflieg released impulses for the aircraft construction and they won numerous competitions with their prototypes.
B.O.T. Aircraft

Ultralight-manufacturer B.O.T. Aircraft had set themselves the bar to developing and creating an UL with a modern construction. That`s what they achieved with their "SC07 Speedcruiser".
