MCW-Digital Projects in the UK





















The wireless MCW-Digital conference system is used for many projects world-wide. Borough Council of Kings Lynn & Norfolk
Kings Lynn Borough Council have chosen the beyerdynamic MCW-D 200 conference system for their newly refurbished Chamber and Committee rooms. Installed by Sound Advice and chosen for it’s flexibility, the MCW-D 200 digital radio conference system allows the rooms to be set up and cleared in minutes. Parliamentary, weighted and multiple choice voting is available with the system, the results from which are shown on the main projection screen and three Plasma relay panels around the room. Auto-track camera follow, infrared and loop hard of hearing, presentation radio microphones and PA complete the facilities.

Broxtowe Borough Council
Installed by beyerdynamic Conference Partner Sound Advice, the refurbished chamber at Broxtowe Council is in use most of the time for different meetings and events. The MCW-D 50 digital wireless conference system was chosen by the Council for its flexibility and mobility and the room configuration can now be changed in moments.

East Staffordshire Borough Council
To prevent intrusive drilling and cabling in their chamber, East Staffordshire Council have chosen the MCW-D 50 digital wireless conference system for their audio needs. Installed and configured by Sound Advice, the Council now have a conference system which blends perfectly with the chamber environment and can be set up quickly and easily to operate in minutes.

Forest Heath District Council
In order to maximize the use of their newly refurbished chamber, Forest Heath Council have chosen the advanced MCW-D 200 combined audio and voting digital wireless conference system. Utilising camera control with pictures fed to large screens in the room and digital audio recording, Sound Advice have provided the Council with a truly 21st century audio and visual system.

Gosport Borough Council
Gosport Council have chosen Sound Advice to install the MCW-D 50 digital wireless conference system in their Council chamber. Picked for it’s flexibility and superb audio performance, the MCW-D 50 system allows the Council to maximize their meetings with the minimum of fuss. Linked to in-room sound reinforcement and an infra-red induction loop system, the new conference system caters for all visitors to the Council.

Inverclyde Council
Chosen for it’s portability and ease of use, Inverclyde Council have picked the MCW-D 50 digital wireless conference system to cater for their audio needs. Supplied and installed by Sound Advice, the MCW-D 50 system is also connected to an infra-red hard-of-hearing system and is in regular use for a variety of different meeting types.

Kazakhmys PLC (London)
Kazakhmys plc are one of the Worlds largest producers of copper and have subsidiaries in Kazakhstan and Germany. Sound Advice designed and installed an MCW-D 200 digital wireless conference system that provides two channels of simultaneous interpretation. Three ceiling mounted fully functional cameras controlled by the delegate units provides a video conferencing-ready picture of the delegate who is talking. Both audio and video are streamed over the company’s network which enables the Interpreters to view the images from the board room anywhere else within the building.

Kettering Borough Council
Due to having a chamber where the furniture has to be moved for different meetings, Kettering Council picked beyerdynamic Conference Partner Sound Advice to install the MCW-D 50 digital wireless conference system. Being very quick to set up, due to working straight out of the box, the MCW-D 50 system has provided the Council with an easy to use, high quality audio system which will last for years.

London Borough of Greenwich
The London Borough of Greenwich selected Sound Advice to install two MCW-D 50 digital wireless conference systems in their committee rooms, one of which is mobile, to provide flexible meeting spaces that include hard of hearing and sound reinforcement systems. The Great Hall, below, was also furnished with a sound reinforcement system that included a Biamp Nexia CS digital processor to provide equalisation and feedback control that guaranteed excellent sound quality in a very difficult acoustic environment.

London Borough of Sutton
Requiring maximum flexibility and quality in a cost-effective package, the London Borough of Sutton has chosen the MCW-D 50 conference system. As the room is changed in format for each meeting, the MCW-D 50 system (installed by Sound Advice) provided the simplest solution for the Council. Connected to a fixed PA system and hard-of-hearing loop, the installation has been extremely beneficial for the Council and it’s members.

Maidstone Borough Council
Due to being situated in a highly decorated, listed building Maidstone Borough Council needed a sensitive, “invisible” audio and video installation. Choosing Sound Advice for the task, the MCW-D 50 digital wireless conference system now caters for the audio, connected to a fixed PA system and camera-control / web-casting systems. So that the chamber can be used for different meeting types, the MCW-D 50 system allows the room to packed down in minutes.

Manchester Central Conference Centre
Manchester's premier exhibition venue, Manchester Central (previously know as the GMEX Centre) has purchased a large stock of MCW-D 50 digital radio conference units from Sound Advice for their busy conference centre. The MCW-D 50 system was chosen for it’s all-in-one robust design and easy battery and storage management.

Middlesbrough City Council
Middlesbrough City Council have chosen the MCW-D 50 system for use as their main audio reinforcement. Picked due to it’s ability to be moved from room to room quickly and easily and without the need to assemble and dis-assemble the microphone units, Sound Advice installed the system with a minimum of fuss for the Council.

Peterborough City Council
Peterborough City Council now have a fully portable 80-way MCW-D 50 digital conference system, installed and configured by Sound Advice. Using a second MCW-D 50 central control unit, the delegates units can be split between the two to enable two simultaneous meetings of 40 delegates to take place.

Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead
Installed by Sound Advice, the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead have chosen an MCW-D 50 digital wireless conference system for their main chamber. Picked for it’s ease of use and flexibility, the MCW-D 50 system is connected to an in-room PA system and infra-red hearing loop, ensuring great audio quality for all of the Councilors.

Royal College of Anaesthetists (London)
Providing a cost-effective, portable solution for their chamber, the RCA has chosen an MCW-D 50 digital wireless conference system, installed by Sound Advice. Featuring advanced encryption facilities and low-impact installation, the MCW-D 50 system was perfect for the job.

South Staffordshire District Council
South Staffordshire Council have chosen a portable MCW-D 50 conference system for use in their main chamber and committee rooms. Installed by Sound Advice, the system provides all of the facilities required for each of their meetings, with quick and easy set-up.

Wealden District Council
Wealden Council in East Sussex has purchased two MCW-D 50 digital wireless conference systems via Sound Advice to enable two meetings to be run simultaneously in their two sites (Crowborough and Hailsham). All of the delegates units are then brought together for the main Council meetings, maintaining maximum flexibility.

West Dorset District Council
Installed by Sound Advice, West Dorset Council have chosen a compact MCW-D 50 digital wireless conference system for their main chamber. Enabling the Council to set up and pack down meetings quickly and easily, the MCW-D 50 was the perfect choice for them.

West Lindsey District Council
West Lindsey District Council in Gainsborough have a 50 way MCW-D 200 digital radio conference system with integral voting, installed by Sound Advice. There are three acoustic screens in the chamber which can be closed to make three conference rooms or completely retracted for when the space is used for full council. The projector signals in the three rooms can be split to allow for the different configurations, along with the audio and hard of hearing systems. The technicians room is shown, right, with the delegates charging cases and the webcasting racks and signal processing, all operated from within the chamber by a touch screen controller.

Worcestershire County Council
Sound Advice worked closely with the in-house design team at Worcestershire County Council to provide state of the art and totally flexible audio visual and conference facilities. 60 MCW-D 200 digital wireless delegates units with voting provide the main audio and also control the camera follow. Multiple plug-in points around the chamber, anti rooms and committee rooms allow for 50” LCD panels on wheels to be connected to relay the proceedings to other points around the building.
