Revoluto in use at the Federal Network Agency in Germany

The Federal Network Agency for Electricity, Gas, Telecommunications, Post and Railway is a separate higher federal authority within the scope of business of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Labour.

On the 12th December 2006 a frequency auction took place in Mainz. For this event the new Revoluto microphone station from beyerdynamic was in use. Due to the patented microphone array technology it does not need a gooseneck microphone. This makes the microphone station ideal for podium and stage applications where a gooseneck microphone is often distracting.

More freedom of movement
Due to the corridor characteristic the voice range is much wider and the speaker can move more freely without concentrating on the microphone. This proved to be an absolute advantage during the auction in Mainz, as the chairman Mr. Kurth commented on the bids while turning to the screen to read the results. Thanks to Revoluto he was clearly heard all the time.

Unobtrusive design
Revoluto was also used when the chairman was speaking at the podium. The freedom of movement is also advantageous in this application. Furthermore, journalists can take pictures without disturbing gooseneck microphones.
