 beyerdynamic provides the Office of the Federal President in Berlin with conference system
After having equipped Germany’s parliament, the German Bundestag, beyerdynamic now provided 15 conference workstations for the head of state and his staff in the video conference room in the Office of the Federal President at Bellevue Castle in Germany with the MCS 50 conference system. The unobtrusive MCS 563 microphone unit for under the table installation was selected to be operated with a piezo button. The gooseneck microphone units were installed into the table top and ensure reliable speech transmission to the whole world. The system is controlled via a touch screen. The cameras are programmed for speaker tracking and detection, i.e. the active microphone unit sends signals to the media control system, which sends the appropriate control commands to the video and audio crossbar and cameras. An HD recorder allows an audio-visual recording. “In addition to the optimal technical options to connect to the media control system, the design of the microphone units was a crucial factor”, reveals Anderas Zenker, project manager.
